Paradise partnered with the live entertainment specialists Vision Nine to reveal the festivals third headliner Lily Allen. Given the content and nature of the event - the team commissioned street artist Zabou to spray Lily's face in an undisclosed skatepark in the UK. The agency created a minute-long social promo teasing parts of the mural artwork with board tricks and a skaters journey to the park as a narrative. Lily's vocal comes into play as the creative reaches its climax and the full mural of Lily's face is revealed. The content also reveals Octavian and Public Enemy via additional creative towards the end of the video.
"We wanted to create something a little different for this one" states Producer Nicky Cook - "There are a few techniques used within the edit and also on the day that I think really set the tone for the content." The team used perspex plates to allow for Zabou to spray directly on to the camera for the closing reveal shot. "We also waterlogged areas of the park to get some of those gritty reflective shots of the gates and some of the surrounding areas when the skaters enter the park." The team filmed the entire video with a team of 9 in London on a very wet and cold Wednesday in March. "We're really happy with the edit and look forward to seeing how the reveal is received online!
