Winter Jazzfest is the annual New York home to the exciting and forward-thinking contemporary jazz music being made today.

We joined BBC Music Introducing in New York to create a documentary-style campaign for 4 fantastic up-and-coming jazz artists ahead of their showcase at Le Poisson Rouge Manhattan for Winter Jazzfest 2019.

Our Approach

We worked on location with Ezra Collective, Tawiah, Yazmin Lacey, and Emma-jean Thackray - filmed entirely around New York city’s hotspots to create a documentary format for the artists and BBC Music Introducing platform. The week culminated in a range of fantastic performances at the festival supported by BBC Music & the PRS Foundation - and hosted by the legendary Giles Petterson.
