#Hiring: Freelance Account Director – Immediate Start

We’re looking for an Account Director to join our Client Services team on a contract basis (approx. 8 weeks, immediate start) to help lead key client accounts through the run-up to Christmas. You’ll be responsible for guiding day-to-day activity across a portfolio of clients — spanning brand, social and experiential projects — supported by an Account Manager and working closely with our creative, strategy and production teams. It’s a hands-on role that needs someone comfortable leading client conversations, keeping delivery tight, and ensuring projects land on time and on brief. You’ll bring calm, clarity and confidence — helping the team finish 2025 strong, with the potential to extend into the new year if required.

Things you’ll love:

Client Leadership

  • Leading key client relationships across FMCG, music, TV and beauty.

  • Acting as the senior point of contact — trusted for strategic guidance and creative perspective.

  • Building long-term partnerships by understanding clients’ business goals, audiences and brand ambitions.

  • Running senior-level meetings, presentations and workshops with confidence.

  • Leading the client services function for your accounts, supported by an Account Manager.

  • Identifying opportunities to grow relationships and create additional value for clients.

  • Acting as a true brand guardian — ensuring everything we deliver aligns with client strategy and the Paradise standard.

Project Management

  • Overseeing campaigns end-to-end — from strategic development and briefing through to delivery.

  • Managing budgets, scopes, and timelines across multiple complex projects.

  • Guiding the Account Manager to keep delivery tight, on time and within budget.

  • Coordinating with creative, strategy and production leads to ensure seamless execution.

  • Managing resource, priorities and workflow across your accounts.

  • Maintaining visibility on project profitability and account performance in partnership with the Commercial Manager.

Creative & Strategy

  • Working alongside strategy and creative leads to turn client objectives into bold, effective ideas.

  • Contributing to pitches and proposals — from shaping the thinking to presenting the work.

  • Bringing insight, clarity and energy to creative reviews and client presentations.

  • Staying close to culture, content and audience trends to keep your clients ahead.

  • Helping shape how our work shows up in the world — across brand, social, and experience.

Agency Growth

  • Acting as a key growth driver for your accounts — identifying, developing and closing new opportunities.

  • Leading and supporting pitches, RFPs and business development efforts with the senior team.

  • Building long-term client value — helping retain, renew and expand relationships.

  • Working closely with the Commercial Manager to monitor revenue, margin and forecasting across your accounts.

  • Mentoring and developing junior team members within the Client Services team.
