How do you tell the story of one of the worlds biggest and most iconic musical institutions?

Ministry-of-Sound.

Paradise Agency (in collaboration with Coalition Talent Agency) find themselves sat in The Box talking to the likes of Brandon Block, Paul Oakenfold, Tall Paul, Smokin’ Jo, Judge Jules and Ministry of Sound co-founder Justin Berkmann. Through the dry ice haze of the early 90’s – these legends of the scene, share their tales of the Ministry of Sound history.

This is a huge project and a particularly important one for Paradise as a leading creative agency working across the music space. Having worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Tom Grennan, Tom Odell and Michael Kiwanuka (to name but a few). We are considerably proud to add Ministry of Sound to their deck as they produce the first official ‘History of Ministry’ documentary.

Shot over a period of two weeks, the film explores the official timeline from 1991 all the way through to the present day. The highs, the lows and a hell of a lot of naughtiness in between. The documentary dedicates a large section to iconic compilation record The Annual – featuring never before seen footage and a live orchestral accompaniment at The Annual Classical performances across the UK in 2019.

Regarding The Annual and the upcoming tour, Judge Jules says about his involvement – “The Annual is the biggest selling dance music compilation of all time, and I was equally proud to be involved then as I am now. Orchestrating some of its biggest tracks is an homage to some of the greatest musical memories ever, and the show promises to be a truly heart-stirring experience.”

Ministry Of Sound chairman Lohan Presencer continues – “The Annual is the best selling dance music compilation series of all time. Packed with classic anthems it’s only fitting that these tunes should get the classical treatment.”

The Annual Classical premiere will be a stone’s throw away from the clubs home in Elephant and Castle, at the Royal Festival Hall on London’s Southbank and will feature the London Concert Orchestra.
